Hibernation!!

We did a lesson on hibernation. We talked about animals that hibernate and migrate.
I found this cute craft on pinterest. They had to color ONLY the sleeping animals.  Then they had to cut out the caves and put the sleeping animals in the cave.
Then I happen to get this large box while they were working on a worksheet and we turned it into our own little cave!!  What fun.  Big boxes allow for hours of fun!

Thanksgiving for Preschool ages

Name recognition, teaching the importance of being thankful and what thankful means.  They also
"wrote" in their journals about what they were thankful for.  Once I told them they couldn't write about candy, they focused on things like family, food, house, etc. Then I allowed them to put candy!!
Snack...just cut slices of carrots, green peppers, red peppers, and you could also add celery in ranch.  These were a huge hit!!

All About Me!

All about me!!  We talked about feelings, how everyone is different, special interests and dislikes of each, etc.
Then we talked about families, homes, etc.  Each child talked about their family members.  We talked about different homes; houses, apartments, etc.  Then we made a shape house.
